Deleting your data
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Disconnect a social account
Open your dashboard, choose the site, then Social. Each connected account has a Disconnect button. Pressing it deletes the stored access token from our database immediately — it is removed, not disabled. Scheduled posts stay in your calendar but stop being published.
You can also revoke webMake from the platform’s own side, which has the same effect on our access: on Instagram under Settings → Apps and Websites, and on Google under your Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps.
Delete a site
Dashboard → the site → Settings → Delete. This removes the site’s pages, its published content, the visitor messages it collected, its planned social posts and any account connected to it.
Delete your whole account
Write to admin@webmake.uk from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We remove the account, every site on it and everything listed above within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. Backups that already contain the data are overwritten on their own schedule, within 90 days.
What we never had
webMake never receives your Instagram or Google password. The connection is made through the platform’s own consent screen, and what we store is a token limited to the two things the feature does: identify the account, and publish a post you approved.
